Jeff performs solo for all types of venues, from small coffee houses to larger theaters and festivals.

He performs his solo tribute show with a stage presence combined with an array of acoustic guitars, banjitar, acoustic stage grand piano, antique 1886 pump organ and harmonicas that are much the same as an unplugged performance of a live Neil Young solo concert.

With keeping the spirit of Neil Young's creative guitar tunings and trying to keep his performance as close to authentic as possible, Jeff uses multiple Martin acoustic guitars tuned differently for specific songs written by Neil. These multiple guitars create his "array" of acoustics surrounding him during his solo performance much in the same fashion as Neil himself.

When space is limited at smaller venues, Jeff will normally bring two or three of his acoustic guitars and a small PA system.

AUTHENTIC AS POSSIBLE

Jeff Taylor's solo show and his performance captivates audiences with the feel and sound of a live genuine Neil Young concert

NEIL YOUNG'S #1 FAN

“I've been performing Neil Young's songs for over three DECADES. In fact, the first song I learned to play on my Sears Silvertone acoustic guitar was the "Needle And The Damage Done". After many years of performing Neil's songs in my repertoire of other classic songs from the 60's and 70's, I decided it was time to devote my true passion for singing and performing Neil's songs by transforming into a Tribute Performing Artist. I'm not really into being a fan of celebrities, but I will admit that I am probably Neil's #1 fan.., in fact, I even named my youngest son after him!’  -Jeff Taylor-

SURPRISE BAND-MATE GUESTS

There are times when Jeff is performing solo and some of his band mates show up and sit in with him. It's a nice surprise and Jeff's audience really appreciates it when his violinist, bass player or back-up singers participate in a song or two.
